Not my sort of thing but the owner loves it.
Came out nice, in the sun the flake really pops.
Courtesy packet of Gtechniq gummy sweets (they are little cars)
Fold down rear seats
Lift up and forward for a good size flat floor
Common place that people forget to clean, under the rear seats
Full size boot, seats folded down and forward

What a dreary little thing. At least it is very clean.
Supposedly you could get a rear mounted spare tire in the US but I’ve never seen one. Looks kind weird and small for the space it is filling. That style looks better slightly recessed into the door.

My child learned to drive on an automatic, now I’m teaching her to drive manual because all of our cars are manual, all 4 of them. I bet in England they teach manual right off the bat. It takes up enough of her brain that it’s taking time to get comfortable with both not running into things and shifting at the same time.

Ye’, it’s not for me. It’s essentially a Fiesta lifted, just as the Kuga a s a Focus lifted.

I don’t understand t he appeal. What exactly are you getting over a Fiesta? Larger wheel arch intrusion for more headroom? Command seating over driving dynamics? It's not half as good looking either. I feel like the kind of people who buy them are the same ones who don't know that their car needs oil changes.

She’ll get it, just needs practice , it becomes muscle memory after a while.
Ye’, your taught how to drive manual as standard because if you pass your test in an automatic, your licence will only permit you to drive automatics, where as a manual licence, you can drive manual and automatics.

It’s for people who want to appear more ‘outdoorsy’, older people like it for easier ingress and egress as the seats and floor are higher up. Some like the higher driving position.
For many a car is to get from ‘A to B’ (I hate that) and looks are up to the individual.

I’m already seeing improvements and she’s doing things without thinking like putting the stick into neutral while rolling up to a light or stop sign. She’s also learned to creep forward without jittery starts and stops without prompting. I’m guessing another 5-10 drives and she will be competent.

Nice one.
I’ll never forget when one of our last cars went into the body shop, the rental company came to collect us in a Jeep Renegade, got to the rental agent and there was two American couples. They were given the Jeep, thankfully) and as one husband signed for it, the other three went out to the car and the guy’s ife ran back in saying loudly, but not shouting, ‘It’s a manual, it’s a manual!’. The guy continued to sign for it and told is wife it’s okay. Me and the other two English customer just smiled at each other and when they left, we nearly pee’d ourselves laugh ing.

I suppose so, but I feel like this is the lowest common denominator of the car world.

Beautiful cleaning job, still hate the “Fiesta-on-Stilts” look of it.

Ye’, it’s not my thing. Thankfully I’ve a palate cleanser lined up.
A new Ford Fiesta ST-Line.
(like this)
A proper Fiesta, even if it is a standard car with a performance look.

I loathe them. Especially after seeing the interior....it’s literally just a lifted uglier fiesta.
